The Conseil des arts et des lettres du Québec (CALQ) has long been committed to improving access to grants for persons with a disability who are eligible for its programs and for organizations that work with persons with a disability. The following is information on the topic and useful resources.
To support diverse artists and organizations, with a view to sustainable development, the CALQ would like to ensure better representation of the diversity of the population through the grants it awards and on its committees and juries. The CALQ believes that inclusion and accessibility are essential to achieving this objective.
Programs and aid presentation for artists with disabilities (French and LSQ only)
Committed for several years to improving the accessibility of disabled artists to its programs, the Council has developed financial assistance for submitting an application and for carrying out projects. This aid is deployed in all programs aimed at artists and writers.
